I like Term life insurance. The amount you pay is less than with Whole life insurance, and the amount will not change until the policy ends and you renew it. When one of you dies, the other gets a large sum of money... if nobody dies, you get nothing. With Whole life insurance, you will pay more, but you can "cash it out" later in life (like an investment).
