Question #1:
why is LSE stock market information delayed by 15 minutes?
Is this just to allow banks to make more money? Also why do brokers seem to be so reluctant to move toward internet access? I know that there are internet trading accounts and internet brokers, I use one, but most banks seem to want you still to call them up to move stock and make it a pain to transfer funds around. It all seems a bit out of date - I mean the bear pits have gone and computers now do half the work, so why do so many brokers still need you to call them?
Question #2:
What is the truth about forex?
I traded succesfuly in a demo account for 3 months, now if i can make a 10 % monthly accumulated, then it seems like i can score a million in 4 or 5 years. now what's the catch ??i use scalping and also trade in 15 min frame trading, use several indicators, now there are several miths (or thuths i dont know) out there about forex: it's a zero sum game !!! ecn dont manipulate your prices like market makers do!!! forex is a scam they hunt your stops and or manipulate prices, they delay your orders !! when you start making a lot of money they close your account !! they dont let you withdraw your money!!
It takes a little comon sense to realize that it is not a zero sum game since a currency pair that moves 100 pips in one direction from 1.2810 to 1.2910 ten guys can make ten pips each buying and selling each other. and even the last guy could probably buy for a longer position and hold for days or weeks with larger stops.
I also heard that things changes when you move from a demo to a real live account: with slippage and other problems.
Now with so many scams it is hard to make a desicion about what broker to choose.
FXCM, CITI, SAXO, CMC, CMS, OANDA, ETORO, FOREX.COM, GFT. Seems to be the best rated, but then again is so easy to fake a review, plus i found all of them to have negative reviews in some websites.
My question is what is the technical difference between a real and demo account, not the emotional of course when you trade a real one you risking hard earned money. i also found this link in wikipedia: Click Here
CFTC investigated more than 80 cases involving the defrauding of more than 23,000 customers who lost $350 million.
So im looking for somebody out there that has been trading succesfuly for more than a year, and tell me his/her experience regarding all this matters. What is the best broker, ecn and so on and on.
I appreciate any help and comments, best of luck.
thanks comon sense, i thank you for taking the time to answer was expecting more especific information.

Question #7:
Did anyone else think this when they saw the new ME2 content?
As soon as I saw that it was a run to hunt the Shadow Broker down for Liara, I thought, "The only team I can imagine taking is Garrus and Tali." Who are you going to bring?Just dl'ed. Looks great so far. About a gig and a half, takes place on Ilium, which already had some of the best cityscapes in the game.
I would camp out for ME3 if I had to.
There have to be some ME2 fans out there... maybe you haven't seen the new content. But it's there! :D
I tried for the 3-way on ME... should have known Ash would walk on that, lol. She could be in more ME2 content, but I am guessing she's out for ME3, though they could work in a Kaiden/Ash option depending on who's still around in your universe.

Who's fault was the mortgage meltdown really?
This is exactly what happened: A broker went to a family and told them that home prices were going up. (They were). They were told if they could afford a $100,000 house, then what they should do is take out a mortgage for $120,000, take the $20,000 up front, upgrade the house, and in one or two years the house would be worth $200,000 which they could then sell at a profit. (It's called 'flipping', and was so popular there were even TV shows made about it). People saw these TV shows and their neighbors all making this work and said "why not me too?" Sounds like a good investment, yes? The reason the broker did that was because the higher the loan, the more of a commission he made.In my opinion, it was the bankers and brokers that caused the meltdown by knowingly "snake oil selling" to people who were unsophisticated buyers.
And if you think there are no unsophisticated buyers out there, ask any of Bernie Maddof's clients.

Question #10:
Does anyone else think some realtors are shady?
Its our first time buying a house and we have been through at least three realtors and we are pretty much on a tight budget which we emphasize right in the beginning..Then it seems like when we find properties we can afford we are coerced to make an offer higher than the selling price and all these miscellaneous fees come out of the woodwork as well..Also our last realtor seemed to really be on the sellers side and Im fidning that more and more where they seem to be looking aout for the sellers best interest than ours..What do you guys think? Any feedback is appreciated. Oh one more thing-How about these mortgage broker fees!! DAMMMMMNNNN!!!!Ok a few extra things-
I live in PA-We have been through Buyer agents of course-yes they are all FREE..I am referring to the fees the mortgage brokers come up with-we just closed on a house that we feel we got a decent deal even though we are at the MAX we want to be at and our realtor helped us be at that point(he really tried to push us to offer more because "the sellers always get a bad deal and buyers always try to take advantage of the sellers by offering low numbers" he says" The mortgage broker he referred us to literally emailed us a few spreadsheets and spoke to us on the phone a few times and he is getting the appraisal but is chargimg us $450 which just seems high to us and we werent aware those fees would be so much
