Does that mean I have to contact the author to just use certain facts? Or does that only apply to those who wish to reproduce the complete material?

How much should I charge for creating a logo?
I have someone who has requested me to design a logo for his company he owns, It is a small but successful business. He is a freight broker. He has asked me to create a logo for his company but I do not know how much I should charge for it. I don't really believe in charging per hour for graphic designing just because everyone works at their own pace. I live in Arizona btw.Question #7:
Poorer whites are better off?
Poor whites are no better off than poor blacks. The rich power brokers of this world are the ones who can wield influence over all people, and are the ones who pretty much lump all less affluent people together as being the same and different from "them". Therefore, why are average people always fighting with each other over race and color, when money is the bigger issue? Who (if anybody) benefits from all this race bickering?Click Here

Question #9:
Please help! should a broker be doing an real estate open house alone in the house with the owner?
My husband often holds real estate open houses for 'single' sometimes interested female owners. They always seem to stay in the home with him (not leave during the open house) leaving them both alone in the home for sometimes 4 hours. Is this appropriate? This makes me feel so uncomfortable, I mean, even if they weren't interested, it would still be weird, they go on on about their personal lives and issues. My husband says I should trust and am wrong to make this an issue. Am I out of line? I feel it's risky business. Advice anyone?Question #10:
Starting Out as a Stock Broker?
I just had an interview with a brokerage that is running a training program. Their program starts out making cold calls for a few months and then beginning the training for taking the series 7 exam. For anyone in the business,I'm wondering if this is the norm. Do I even need a company's sponsorship to become licensed?Question #11:

Ive been thinking about taking a few math undergrad courses from a four year inst and or getting an online certificate degree in math/banking from LSE. would the online ceritificate or the math classes help me become a better candidate? Please let me know what you think about this qs.
There are videos and have interviewed admissions from these school in regards to whats the lowest GPA or GMAT requirement and they say that there is no lowest or highest..they say they focus on the grades "too" but they rather focus on how you have dealt with life, if you are a leader in life, and how you have acomplished your goals...they say the essay is key. If you still believe that my GPA is too low and therefore i have no shot, what do you recomend to do to balance things up? Getting an online certificate, taking classes as a non-degree student? all of these options a expensive..what else do you recommend?

Question #13:
Which story plot sounds more interesting to you?
Plot #1: The SuperiorAnna Friedman is a popular, 15 year old girl in high school who cares immensely about what other people think of her. She is hiding the fact that she has been abducted by extraterrestrials since she was 3 years old and that they have performed terrifying experiments on her. She tried telling her parents once but they acted suspicious about it and said they would put her in therapy. She also has special powers, because unbeknownst to her she is part of an experiment to create alien human hybrids. Her "parents" aren't really married and what they go by aren't their real names, they're just pretending all these years to keep a close eye on her because their will be an alien invasion soon and all the hybrids in the world will need to join forces and fight back.
Anna overhears them talking about this so she goes to Wesley, the nerd in her grade who is OBSESSED with aliens because of his grandmother's abduction stories. He has wanted to be abducted since he was a child because he would like a chance to experience this for himself and find a way to destroy the creatures who did such things to his grandmother, who he loves dearly. (She took him under her wing after his parents died when he was 4, so she has been the only one he's ever trusted.) At first he thinks Anna is joking, a popular girl like herself, asking for help about her abduction and what not, but they soon form a platonic friendship/romance and get warped in a government conspiracy.
Plot #2: Psyched
I just thought of this a week ago so I haven't put much thought into it. But basically, a guy named Joe was born into a rich family. He never allowed them to spoil him, but he has grown up with a comfortable life style which has made him slightly arrogant yet pretentious of the phony people surrounding him. He is very cynical and opinionated, and feels he is smarter than every one around him who wastes their money on joining pretentious country clubs.
His family, the Shippley's, are very close with another family, the Eldrige's. They are very tight knit because their great-grandmother's grew up together, as did each generation. They always made sure to have children the same age.
Finally, the families decide they want to join. Joe is the same age as snobby Margaret (Maggie) and their families are arranging their marriage even though they are only 17. Joe talks to his father about it and tells him he doesn't ever want to get married and that they can't force him. His father tells him to be open to the idea, and makes him feel guilty by saying that everyone is counting on him to marry Margaret so their families can merge and gain property, start businesses and what not.
On their first date, Maggie convinces Joe to go to a psychic with her. He grudgingly decides to go just for the hell of it. The psychic tells him that he is going to marry Margaret, have 3 kids, become a stock broker and end up in a divorce. The cards are bad for him, and the psychic tells him that their is no way he can escape fate. Joe, being stubborn, is determined to not let the psychic be right. He wants to be single, and become a rock star, live life without his parents help, be free and have no kids.
Joe meets Beth at school, who is a tough 17 year old girl trying to make a living. Her parents kicked her out after she got pregnant (even though she was raped by her abusive boyfriend who she lives with, and never admitted it to them.) She is emancipated by her parents, and had a miscarriage after her boyfriend pushed her down the stairs, threw her against a glass table and she passed out. They start to hang out, even though Maggie and Beth's boyfriend aren't happy about it. Will Joe change his future?
Sorry if they both suck, haha. How can I improve them both & which one do you like better and why?
Question #14:
Can I get a HELOC on a home owned outright without a job?
So here's the deal. I was working as a teacher and an entrepreneur, but I decided teaching wasn't my thing, it was killing my ability to work on my business, and I really want to get into real estate so I didn't renew my contract with the school and am preparing to put all my efforts into real estate and my business. I have some savings, although licensing, realtor, mls, other fees are going to seriously eat away at them...So, I'll be a rookie agent in about two weeks after I pass my PSI and find a broker. My lease is running out and I don't want to renew it, a major reason being I do want to buy, and I have two dogs making it almost a necessity to buy. I'm lucky to have a fairly well-off family who is willing to "stake me" so to say during my initial ramp-up period in real estate and I'm looking at a house that would be a lot better than renting. In fact, I believe I could rent out the extra bedrooms and live for free with my two dogs and begin building equity..
My dad would be willing to pay cash for it and gift it to me (or otherwise, gift me the cash, and me buy it) and then I was going to pay him back by taking out a HELOC and writing a check. This gives me a more favorable rate and some flexibility like a neg-am.. but.. I just left my stable job to go prospecting for huge commission checks that might come in right away or could be months away so I'm worried that a bank won't offer me a heloc... or might want a higher rate.
So the question is will a bank do it for me? My dad isn't willing to buy me the house, only help me acquire the house, so I must be able to get the HELOC to pay him back or else it is no dice.
Question #15:
What do you think of a father who desires to murder his two adult twin sons for life insurance money ?
Reputed millionaire Richmond, Virginia real estate business owner has lost a lot money in 30 years due to gambling addiction and a greedy shopping addicted second wife. Is heading into retirement, and does not have enough cash as he would like to be comfortable to continue to support his assets, his lifestyle, his young adult grandsons and pay for retirement for his now 47 year old daughter who works for him in the office. He has a health issue of severe degenerative spine disease that will worsen so he cannot continue to earn his high income as real estate broker and home builder/business owner. He is the son of smuggler. He feels his twin sons lives are not worth much as they are socially and financially vulnerable. So, he feels he needs the life insurance money to be happy and support his most beloved family members because he said "I worked hard and I deserve it!. The other family members support his decision and will benefit, and all of them are using slander and sophisticated corruption tactics to reign in the smartest twin who is trying to defend himself and his mentally challenged identical twin brother. Political psychiatry has already been used to label the smart twin with severe mental illness because he has made accurate complaints about corruption tactics that have been used. Police have been consulted and believed this story was accurate; however was not enough evidence to make a case. What can be done?Question #16:
Do you think BP should compensate real estate agents who lost business due to the spill? Why or why not?
I think it would immensely helpful if you would kindly put your level of education along with your response. It would help me put your response into perspective. Also, it would be interesting to see how educated the yahoo answers community really is and whether I should even bother posting questions and hoping for intelligent answers or not.Obviously its up to you whether you do this or not but if you don't it would probably be a safe bet that you probably dropped out of high school and didn't earn your GED. For the record, I think getting a GED is great at least it shows you got back on the right track and you get a gold star for that! Seriously though, its not a bad thing.
As for me; All I have is an associates degree. I will be the first to admit I'm not an intellectual giant but I'm also still in school and still learning.
And please PLEASE? read the link before answering my question. I ALWAYS ask this and it seems that nobody EVER does. WHY? It's not hard. The article is about four or five paragraphs long. It should not be too hard for someone who is moderately literate to understand. Please and thank you.

Question #17:
I recently decided that it was time to buy my first home and went to LendingTree to get pre-approved?
I was pre-approved through Supreme Lending and Mortgage Lenders of America, but my realtor seems to think they are worthless since they are out of state lenders. They also pre-approved me for $5000 more than my local broker did. Why would they give me more money and why does everyone in the real estate business think they are a joke?Question #18:

What career should I follow through on?
Well I'm about to start high school, and I know if I want to be successful, I must start deciding now. There are four choices that I enjoy, but I do not know which one to pick: Lawyer, Business man, Investor, or stock broker. I enjoy debating, and selling, and I am very interested in the stock and investing world. Which one makes the most? (I know that the better you are at it, the higher you will earn) Which one do I have the best chance of becoming a millionaire with? If you are one of these, scratch the questions before this, and just explain to me what you do, how you do it, how long it took you to get there, and a general amount of how much you make.** Powered by Yahoo Answers
