For example:
IVN STOCK = 16$
Quantity = 1000
I pay (16 * 1000) + 6.95$ ?? or ???

Thanks in advance
I am actually starting. Thats why I ask here to know what i don't know.

Do broker's fees get reported on tax returns? If so how and what gets reported as these do...?

...not appear on tax statements
I noted that I am charged a yearly $40.00 fee for management of my IRA; however, I also incur charges associated with the management of the actual investment. My question also applies to a recent sale of stock. The difference between gross proceeds and actual amount was much higher than any losses incurred during the time the money had been invested.
