THE INSURED HAS NO RECOLLECTION OF HAVING AUTHORIZED WITHDRAWALS, SIGNING ANY CHECKS, NOR OF RECEIVING ANY FUNDS FROM SAID AMOUNTS. CUSTOMER REQUESTS A REINSTATEMENT OF THE ORIGINAL POLICY AMOUNT.

Allegations: THE CLIENTS ALLEGE THAT, IN NOVEMBER 1999, THE REPRESENTATIVE CONVINCED THEM TO SWITCH FROM THEIR GUARANTEED INVESTMENT IN U.S. GOVERNMENT TREASURY STRIPS TO 100% MUTUAL FUNDS. THEY FURTHER ALLEGE THAT THE REPRESENTATIVE EMPHATICALLY GUARANTEED THAT THE CLIENTS WOULD HAVE A BETTER RETURN ON THEIR INVESTMENT BY MAKING SUCH A SWITCH. THE CLIENTS STATE THAT THEY HAVE LOST $150,000 TO $200,000 AS A RESULT OF THE REPRESENTATIVE'S RECOMMENDATIONS AND REQUEST THAT THE FIRM MAKE THEM WHOLE FOR THEIR LOSSES.
