I HAD GRADUATED FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN THE PREVIOUS SPRING. FOLLOWING FOOTBALL GAMES DURING MY SENIOR YEAR, I WOULD ASK THE CONCESSION REPRESENTATIVES AT THE STADIUM FOR PERMISSION TO TAKE A LARGE BAG OF POPCORN WHICH THEY USED TO SELL POPCORN OUT OF DURING THE GAMES. SINCE THEY WERE GOING TO THROW OUT THE POPCORN FOLLOWING THE GAME, I WAS GRANTED PERMISSION AFTER EACH GAME. THE SEPTEMBER 2007 GAME WAS MY FIRST TIME BACK TO ANN ARBOR, MI SINCE GRADUATING THE PREVIOUS SPRING AND FOLLOWING THE GAME THERE WAS SOME CONFUSION ON MY PART ABOUT TAKING THE BAG OF POPCORN AS I HAD DONE WITH PERMISSION MANY TIMES BEFORE. A POLICE OFFICER WAS RUNNING TOWARDS ME YELLING ABOUT THE BAG OF POPCORN AND AT THAT POINT I PANICKED AND TOSSED THE BAG OF POPCORN IN THE GENERAL DIRECTION OF THE OFFICER. AS A RESULT OF THIS INCIDENT I PLEAD GUILTY TO "DISORDERLY PERSON - JOSTLING" AND THE INCIDENT WAS RESOLVED TO THE COURT'S SATISFACTION.
