THE OFFICER ASKED FOR MY LICENSE AND REGISTRATION. I HANDED HER MY LICENSE IMMEDIATELY; AND WHILE I WAS SEARCHING FOR MY REGISTRATION IN THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT, THE OFFICER SPOTTED SOMONE ELSE'S VIRGINIA ID. SHE THEN ASKED ME TO HAND HER THE VIRGINIA ID WHICH I DID. AFTER DISCOVERING IT WAS NOT MINE, I WAS CHARGED WITH THIS MISDEMEANOR. ALTHOUGH THE CHARGES WERE ULTIMATELY DISMISSED AND I WAS NEVER CONVICTED, THIS EVENT IMPACTED MY LIFE TREMENDOUSLY. EVEN THROUGH IT WAS NOT REQUIRED OF ME BY THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA, I COMPLETED 20 HOURS OF COMMUNITY SERVICE THAT SEMESTER. I HAVE GROWN FROM THE EVENT, AND TODAY I MAKE SURE TO PERFORM EVERY TASK WITH THE UTMOST INTEGRITY.
