I WAS ABLE TO PAY MY CREDITORS AS AGREED UNTIL 2010. SHORTLY AFTER THIS MY EX-HUSBAND WAS LAID OFF WHICH WAS A RESULT OF A LOSS OF CHILD SUPPORT. I MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO RECTIFY MY FINANCIAL SITUATION BEFORE THE BK FILING. I TOOK IN ROOMMATES TO HELP OFFSET LIVING EXPENSES; PARTICIPATED IN A CONSUMER CREDIT COUNSELING; ATTEMPTED TO MAKE OTHER ARRANGEMENTS WITH CREDITORS, ETC. I CONSULTED WITH MULTIPLE LAWYERS AND ADVISORS. IT WAS AT THEIR RECOMMENDATION THAT I PROCEED WITH THE BK FILING. I REAFFIRMED WITH MY AUTO LENDER; REAFFIRMATION WAS NOT SUPPORTED BY MY ATTORNEY FOR MY HOME, BUT PAYMENTS ARE NOW CURRENT AS I STILL REMAIN IN MY RESIDENCE.
