Date: October 24, 2017 Category: Investigation Initiated By: FINRA Description of Investigation: Wells Notice examination #20150481728: FINRA made a preliminary determination to recommend that disciplinary action be brought against Andrew Kramer alleging that he violated FINRA Rules 3310(a) and 2010 by failing to establish and implement an Anti-Money Laundering ("AML") program reasonably designed to achieve compliance with AML rules and regulations that could be reasonably expected to detect and cause the reporting of suspicious activity in connection with his member firm's customers' deposits and liquidations of low-priced securities during the period November 2011 through December 2015. Broker Comment: Mr. Kramer and TriPoint disagree with the staff's preliminary determination and recommendations and will defend their position at any FINRA disciplinary proceedings.
