I grew up with an alcoholic father which has impacted my development and ultimately led to the incident. After the incident, I was required to attend 5 months of therapy at my university. After required therapy I continued to see my own therapist and still do to this day. I have also joined Al-Anon which is a family support group for families of alcoholics and that has allowed me to focus on becoming a better person.
