REGISTERED REP WAS NOT REGISTERED AT THE TIME OF THE OCCURRENCE. Broker Comment: THIS ISSUE CAME AS A RESULT OF A JOINT BANK SAVINGS ACCOUNT BEING OPENED BY MYSELF WHILE WORKING AS A BRANCH MANAGER. THE JOINT PARTY IN THIS ACCOUNT, IN THIS CASE BEING THE SON, REQUESTED TO TAKE THE SIGNATURE CARD TO HIS ELDERLY FATHER TO OBTAIN HIS SIGNATURE AND RETURN THE CARD BACK TO THE BANK. A PRACTICE THAT HAS OCCURRED MANY TIMES IN THE PAST AND STILL OCCURS. THE MANNER IN WHICH CHASE IS DISCLOSING THIS ISSUE IS INACCURATE AND MISLEADING, WHILE CLEARLY BEING AWARE THAT THE PRIMARY ACCOUNT HOLDER WAS VERY MUCH PRESENT IN THE BANK WITH ALL REQUIRED PAPERWORK FOR HIMSELF AND HIS FATHER. IN ADDITION I WOULD LIKE TO ADD THAT THE RELATIONSHIP IS STILL CURRENTLY ACTIVE WHILE I ON THE OTHER HAND WAS TERMINATED WITHOUT ANY PRIOR WARNING.
