Date: January 29, 2015 Category: Regulatory Initiated By: Minnesota Department of Commerce (Insurance License) Allegations: My previous role with TIAA required insurance licensing in all states, while still with TIAA I moved to a new role (IN ANOTHER STATE) that no longer required insurance licensing in all states like my previous role did. Thus all non required insurance licensing were to be canceled, during this process of canceling all non required insurance licensing, the State of Minnesota Insurance license failed to be cancelled. Therefore on 1/29/2015 I received information from Minnesota stating they have noticed my address change and that they were not informed of the change, after speaking with Minnesota and making them aware of the initial intent of that insurance license to be canceled, they gave me an option of voluntarily revoking my state of Minnesota Insurance License to resolve the matter. Given that was the initial intent I opted to voluntarily revoking my Minnesota Insurance License. Resolution: Consent Sanctions: voluntarily revoking
