Damage Amount Requested: $6,136.00 Broker Comment: OUR FIRM FOUND NO FAULT WITH OUR REPRESENTATIVE'S ACTIONS OR ADVICE AND THE CLIENT'S COMPLAINT WAS DENIED IN ITS ENTIRETY. THE SURRENDER CHARGE WAS CLEARLY DISCLOSED TO THE CLIENT ON THE CLIENT DISCLOSURE FORM WHICH WAS SIGNED BY THE CLIENT. IN ADDITION TO DISCLOSING THE CHARGE VERBALLY AND IN WRITING, THE CHARGES WERE REFLECTED IN THE CONTRACT RECEIVED BY THE CLIENT. THE CONTRACT ALSO CONTAINED A FREE LOOK PERIOD THAT WOULD ALLOW THE CLIENT TO CANCEL THE CONTRACT FOR ANY REASON AND RECEIVE A RETURN OF PREMIUM. THE CLIENT DID NOT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE FREE LOOK PERIOD.
