Broker Comment: THE CLIENT WAS A SOPHISTICATED INVESTOR WHO INVESTED IN 16 DIFFERENT ANNUITIES AND PARTNERSHIPS RANGING FROM OIL & GAS TO EQUIPMENT LEASING. SINCE HE WAS LEAVING HIS JOB, THE CLIENT WANTED TO PLACE HIS TIAA-CREF FUNDS INTO 4 ACCOUNTS THAT WOULDN'T LOSE MONEY. HE SIGNED ALL DISCLOSURE FORMS INCLUDING INITIALING THAT HE UNDERSTOOD THE SURRENDER CHARGES WERE DECLINING FOR 14 YEARS. FROM MARCH OF 2005 THROUGH DECEMBER OF 2010, THE CLIENT TOOK 22 WITHDRAWALS FROM 4 POLICIES. 2 OF THESE POLICIES HAVE BONUS FEATURES OF 11% AND 5%.
