I was in the midst of removing myself from a physically abusive relationship, was depressed and did not hold much self worth. While this is a decision I will always regret and reflect upon with embarrassment, I am glad I did not get away with it. I quickly realized how out of bounds I was and my behavior was not acceptable for the type of person I am and strive to be. I took great effort after that point to begin rebuilding, takingon greater responsibility at work and moving into my own apartment. It is with great confidence andpride that I can say I learned from the incident and have successfully maintained a life of honesty and integrity.
