Broker Comment: Neither "Eric Schindler" nor "Schindler Wealth Management" are named in this FINRA Claim. This claim is only against "National Planning Corporation", our Broker Dealer in 2004. The Claim against National Planning Corporation stems from a "Tenant in Common" Real Estate Transaction from 2004. We performed all of our fiduciary and suitability responsibilities to the client. Any challenges to the real estate investment was a reflection of the major downturn from 2007, Commercial Real Estate Sector and not on poor management of the Asset Manager, nor was it a reflection on the quality of the real estate. This claim was mediated and settled without our involvement. In addition, the claim against "National Planning" was over 11 years old, which is well beyond the "6 year" Time Rule established by FINRA. I believe this claim would have been set aside by FINRA, but either way, neither I or our firm were named in this action.
