Broker Comment: IN JUNE 2013, MY TEAM AND I WERE TO INTRODUCED TO FOUR (4) ULTRA-HIGH NET WORTH CLIENTS WITH VERY COMPLICATED WEALTH STRUCTURES SEEKING ACQUISITION FINANCING FOR VARIOUS PROPERTIES. THE MORTGAGE BROKERS INTRODUCED THE CLIENTS TO US AND WE WORKED DIRECTLY WITH THE CLIENT, THEIR CPA'S AND COUNSEL. MY MISTAKE WAS NOT DISCLOSING THE FACT THE CLIENTS NEGOTIATED AND COMPENSATED THE MORTGAGE BROKER. IN NO WAY WAS I INVOLVED WITH PROVIDING RATE DISCOUNTS OR COMPENSATION TO THE CLIENT OR BROKER NOR WERE THESE ACTIONS BROKERAGE RELATED.
