Broker Comment: My consent to the Vermont Order was based on advice from counsel to settle this matter and is not an admission of my liability. In fact, I deny Vermont's allegations. First, I deny that I knowingly used an unauthorized email account. I reasonably believed that my Credit Union e-mail was accessible by my broker/dealer. Second, I reported the client complaint to a manager of the Credit Union where I provided investment services through my broker/dealer. Lastly, I believe that I acted properly at all times and in compliance with applicable regulations and firm policy.
