SIMAKAS PICKED UP THE BEER AND TOOK IT TO THE CAR WHILE HIS FRIEND WAS PURCHASING OTHER ITEMS AT THE REGISTER. HIS FRIEND CAME OUT OF THE STORE WITHOUT PAYING FOR THE BEER, WHICH HE SAID HE WOULD PAY FOR. CONSEQUENTLY, SIMAKAS WAS CHARGED WITH SHOPLIFTING AND PAID A SMALL FINE.
