I HAD TAKEN MY 2 Y/O TO A STORE AND UNBEKNOWNST TO ME HE HAD TAKEN SEVERAL ITEMS OFF THE SHELVES. STORE SECURITY HAD STOPPED US TO QUESTION ABOUT THE ITEMS. SINCE I HAD RECENTLY IMMIGRATED, I HAD VERY LIMITED USE OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE, WHICH DID NOT HELP THE SITUATION AND POLICE WAS CALLED. AFTER THE QUESTIONING THEY GAVE ME A CITATION AND LET ME LEAVE THE STORE. I WAS NOT TAKEN INTO ANY POLICE CUSTODY AND THE CASE WAS DISMISSED IN OCTOBER 1992.
