THE CLIENT STATES THAT MAUGERI DID TIE UP HIS MONEY IN THE MUNI BONDS HE RECOMMENDED Damage Amount Requested: $5,000.00 Broker Comment: THE CUSTOMER WAS ADVISED MR. MAUGERI CLAIMS WHEN THE CUSTOMER TRANSFERRED HIS ACCOUNT TO OUR FIRM THE ACCOUNT CONSISTED OF CD INVESTMENTS. MR. MAUGERI INDICATED HE RECOMMENDED THE CUSTOMER NOT SELL THE CDS BUT CLAIMS THE CUSTOMER INSTRUCTED HIM TO SELL THE CDS AND PURCHASE MUNICIPAL BONDS WITH THE PROCEEDS. MR. MAUGERI CLAIMS HE DID MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE CUSTOMER AFTER REVIEWING THE FEATURES OF THE MUNICIPAL BONDS AND OTHER INCOME INVESTMENTS WITH THE CUSTOMER INCLUDING THE MATURITY DATES. MR. MAUGERI ASSURED OUR FIRM HE RECEIVED INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE CUSTOMER TO MAKE THE INVESTMENTS. THE CUSTOMER WAS ALSO PROVIDED WITH ONFIRMATIONS FOR THE TRADES WHICH INCLUDED INFORMATION CONCERNING THE MATURITY DATES. OUR POSITION IS MR. MAUGERI ACTED APPROPRIATELY IN THIS MATTER AND THE CUSTOMER'S COMPLAINT WAS DENIED.
