Broker Comment: MY COMPROMISE RESULTED FROM CREDIT CARD THAT WENT INTO COLLECTIONS IN 2003, I BELIEVE. I HAD BEEN WORKIN AS A PHARMACY TECHNICIAN TO SUPPORT MYSELF AND MY EX-WIFE AS I FINISHED MY FIRST DEGREE. MY HOURS AT THE PHARMACY WERE REDUCED DRASTICALLY AS THE OWNER SOLD ONE OF THE LOCATIONS AND TRIED TO PROVIDE MANY OF THE EMPLOYEES OF THAT LOCATION WITH SHIFTS AT THE LOCATION WHERE I WORKED. I GOT BEHIND ON PAYMENTS AND EVENTUALLY THE ACCOUNT WENT INTO COLLECTIONS. IN 2009/2010, I RECEIVED OFFER FROM THE COLLECTION AGENCY TO COMPROMISE AND FINALLY TAKE CARE OF THE DEBT. I ACCEPTED THE OFFER AND HAVE BEEN MORE RESPONSIBLE WITH CREDIT EVER SINCE. MY CREDIT SCORE HAS BEEN IMPROVING STEADILY SINCE THEN.
