THE FACT IS I NO LONGER HAD ANY CLIENTS OR PROSPECTS WHO NEEDED LIFE INSURANCE IN VA, SO I DECIDED NOT TO PAY THE RENEWAL FEE AND SEND PROOF OF CONTINUING EDUCATION. IN MARCH OF 2000, I APPLIED TO THE STATE OF VA FOR A VARIABLE LIFE AND ANNUNITY LICENSE. I WAS INSTRUCTED BY MAIL ON 3/24/00 THAT IN ORDER TO OBTAIN THE LIFE LICENSE, I WOULD HAVE TO GET A BASIC LIFE AND HEALTH LICENSE, THEN GET VARIABLE. I WOULD HAVE TO TAKE 45 HOURS OF CLASSES AND SIT FOR THE EXAM. I SIMPLY CHOOSE NOT TO. IT WAS MY CHOICE.
