IN 01/2008 I PAID THE ACCOUNT IN FULL BEFORE MOVING TO CHICAGO. I WAS CONTACTED IN 2010 STATING THAT I OWED $250 FROM THE INTEREST THAT HADN'T SHOWN UP YET WHEN I HAD PAID OFF THE CARD. I SIMPLY ASKED FOR A STATEMENT FROM HSBC SHOWING THIS, AND COLLECTION AGENCY WAS UNABLE TO PROVIDE ME WITH ONE. AS A RESULT THEY OFFERED ME THE OPTION TO PAY $125 OF THE $250 OWED AND MARK THE ACCOUNT AS PAID IN FULL.
