I INTERVIEWED THE CLIENT AND WAS SATISFIED THAT TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE THE TRANSACTION WAS SUITABLE AND THE CLIENT UNDERSTOOD THE RISKS ASSOC WITH THE TRANSACTIONS THE BUSINESS WAS UNSOLICITED AND NO INSIDER INFORMATION WAS AVAILABLE TO THE CLIENT. I CONTACTED MY SROP/CROP TO ADVISE OF THE TRANSACTIONS AND OBTAIN APPROVAL FOR THE LARGE POSITION. THE APPROVAL WAS GRANTED, HOWEVER, THE SROP/CROP WAS UNAWARE THE OPTION POSITION WAS ALL ONE COMPANY. AFTER I LEFT MY POSITION, THE CLIENT WAS ASKED TO REDUCE THE POSITION AS HE WAS OVER THE OPTION LIMIT FOR ONE SIDE OF THE MARKET. ALSO THE COMPLAINT INCLUDED LOSSES SHORT SALES OF LARGE POSITIONS IN VARIOUS STOCKS THAT OCCURRED AFTER MY TENURE IN THE SUPERVISORY POSITION AT THIS BRANCH IN A MARGIN ACCOUNT WHICH ACCOUNTED FOR 98% OF THE CLAIM. I WAS INTERVIEWED AT A LATER TIME BY THE AMERICAN STOCK EXCHANGED REGARDING THE OPTIONS INCIDENT. I WAS TOLD MY NAME WAS REMOVED FROM THE COMPLAINT AND I WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE SETTLEMENT AMOUNT IF ANY. Damage Amount Requested: $5,000,000.00
