Settlement Amount: $9,318.40 Broker Comment: THIS COMPLAINT HAS ABSOLUTELY NO MERIT. I MET WITH THE CLIENT ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS TO DETERMINE HIS FINANCIAL STATUS, RISK TOLERANCE AND INVESTMENT BACKGROUND. HE SIGNED SIX REIT PRODUCT DISCLOSURE FORMS ACKNOWLEDGING ALL THE RISKS OF HIS INVESTMENTS. HOWEVER, DUE TO UNFORESEEN CHANGES IN HIS PERSONAL SITUATION, THE CUSTOMER REQUESTED A CANCELLATION AND RETURN OF HIS PRINCIPAL INVESTMENT IN TWO OUT OF HIS SIX INVESTMENTS. IN GOOD FAITH AND WITH THE INVESTMENT SPONSORS' FULL COOPERATION, MY BROKER-DEALER AND I WERE INSTRUMENTAL IN OBTAINING A FULL RETURN OF THE CLIENT'S REQUESTED FUNDS. THE DOLLAR FIGURE LISTED AS THE "SETTLEMENT" AMOUNT ABOVE REPRESENTS ONLY THE COMMISSION THAT WAS VOLUNTARILY RETURNED FROM MY BROKER-DEALER BACK TO THE INVESTMENT SPONSORS, WHICH WAS DONE TO FACILITATE THE FULL RETURN OF CUSTOMER'S INVESTMENT PRINCIPAL ON SAID INVESTMENTS.
