Allegations: THE CLIENT ALLEGED HER MUTUAL FUNDS INVESTMENTS PURCHASED BETWEEN JANUARY OF 2006 AND MARCH OF 2009 WERE UNSUITABLE.
Damage Amount Requested: $71,887.78
Broker Comment: PRIOR TO MAKING THE INVESTMENT IN 2006 I REVIEWED THE HISTORICAL VOLATILITY OF THE PROPOSED MUTUAL FUNDS USING A MORNINGSTAR HYPOTHETICAL PROPOSAL. THIS CLEARLY ILLUSTRATED VOLATILITY ON THE FIRST PAGE. WE ALSO REVIEWED THE FUNDS AT MORE THAN 20 MEETINGS IN A 3 YEAR TIME FRAME AND AT NUMBEROUS TIMES I SUGGESTED MOVING TO SOMETHING MORE CONSERVATIVE. THE CLIENT DECLINED TO MAKE ANY CHANGES. SHE WAS WITHDRAWING MONEY EACH MONTH WHICH WAS INCLUDED IN THE CLAIM.
