RCW 9A.36.021(1)(C), RCW 9.94A.602 AND RCW 9.94A.510- CLASS B FELONY Disposition: FULLY ACQUITTED BY REASON OF SELF DEFENCE Broker Comment: THIS IS AN INCIDENT FOR WHICH I SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN ARRESTED. I WAS ASSAULTED BY A GROUP OF 8 MALES WHO SUBSEQUENTLY LIED ABOUT THE FACT THAT THEY FOLLOWED AND INITIATED AN ASSAULT UPON ME AND A FEMALE FRIEND. I TOOK APPROPRIATE ACTION IN ORDER TO DEFEND THE LIVES OF MYSELF AND FRIEND AGAINST THE ASSAILANTS. AFTER A MILITARY INVESTIGATION, (IN WHICH IT WAS DETERMINED THAT I TOOK APPROPRIATE ACTION) AND A CRIMINAL TRIAL, I WAS FOUND 100% INNOCENT ON ALL COUNTS BY A FULL JURY. THE JURY ADDITIONALLY FOUND THAT THE STATE OF WASHINGTON WAS REQUIRED TO PAY ALL LEGAL FEES, COURT EXPENSES, AND FINES AS A RESULT OF FINDING ME 100% NOT GUILTY BY REASON OF SELF-DEFENSE, AND FURTHER THAT THE ACTION THAT I TOOK WAS APPROPRIATE AND WELL WITHIN MY LEGAL RIGHTS.
