MICHAEL MCLAUGHLIN WAS CUSTOMER'S BROKER AT PRUDENTIAL SECURITIES FROM APRIL 1999 TO JULY 2000. WHILE THE COMPLAINT DID NOT CONTAIN A CLAIM FOR A SPECIFIC DAMAGE AMOUNT, DAMAGES ARE BELIEVED TO BE IN EXCESS OF $5,000.00.

Broker Comment: I WAS APPROACHED BY AN OFFICER IN UNIFORM ANDASKED IF I WOULD KEEP IT DOWN. I AGREED. THE OFFICERCONTINUED TO STARE ME DOWN. I THEN APPROACHED HIM AND ASKED IFI HAD DONE SOMETHING WRONG. HE BECAME AGITATED & FORCED MY ARMAROUND MY BACK & UP TOWARD MY HEAD. I RESISTED BECAUSE I FELTMY ARM WAS GOING TO BREAK. HE HANDCUFFED ME AND PLACED ME INTHE PATROL CAR. AT THIS POINT I WAS TOTALLY CONFUSED AS TO WHYI WAS BEING ARRESTED FOR SIMPLY ASKING A QUESTION. THE OFFICERTOOK MY WALLET AND REMOVED MY BROTHERS ID AND ASSUMED IT WASMINE. I WAS AFRAID TO SAY OTHERWISE AT THAT POINT. MY LEGALCOUNSEL DEALT W/ALL THE SITUATIONS AND INFORMED ME THAT I WOULDPLEA TO A LESSER CHARGE OF RESISTING ARREST W/OUT VIOLENCE.CONCERNING THE IMPERSONATING CHARGE, I HAVE NO IDEA WHY I WASCHARGED WITH THAT BECAUSE IT DIDN`T HAPPEN. THE PROSECUTOR &MY ATTORNEY AGREED TO DISMISS THE CHARGE. MY UNDERSTANDING WASTHAT THE COURTS W/HELD ADJUDICATION & HAD NO OBJECTIONS TO THERECORDS BEING SEALED. I ASSUMED THEY WERE. THAT IS WHY I DIDNOT DISCLOSE THE CHARGES ON MY APPLICATION. WHEN I LATER FOUNDOUT THEY WEREN`T SEALED I AM TAKING THE APPROPRIATE MEASURES TOSEAL THEM.
