THE CHECK DID NOT CLEAR AND EATON LEASING OF SALEM NH SENT A NOTICE SAYING THEY WERE GOING TO BRING THE MATTER TO COURT IF DID NOT FULLY PAY FOR THE EQUIPMENT. A REPRESENTATIVE FROM EATON CAME TO THE OFFICE SHORTLY AFTERWARDS AND WE SETTLED THE OUTSTANDING BALANCE ON THE EQUIPMENT, PAID IN FULL. HE INFORMED ME THAT THEY WOULD NOW REMOVE THE CHARGE FROM THE COURT SYSTEM AND THAT I WOULD BE CLEAR. THIRTEEN YEARS LATER I WAS TRAVELING THROUGH LOWELL MA AND WAS STOPPED FOR SPEEDING. AT THAT TIME THE OFFICER INFORMED ME OF AN OUTSTANDING WARRANT. I LATER DISCOVERED THAT EATON LEASING HAD NEVER REMOVED THE CHARGE. I THEN APPEARED IN FRAMINGHAM COURT ON 11/14/2003 AND PAID THE 137.00 TO DISMISS THE CASE. SOON AFTERWARDS I SPOKE WITH A LAWYER CONCERNING THIS MATTER AND HE ADVISED ME THAT IT WOULD BE A RATHER LARGE EXPENSE TO TRACK DOWN AND GET RESOLVED, SPECIFICALLY BECAUSE EATON LEASING HAD GONE OUT OF BUSINESS.
