THE PENALTY WAS A FINE OF $250.00 THAT WAS PAID ON FEBRUARY 27, 1996 Broker Comment: I WAS TRYING TO PURCHASE A PAIR OF SUN GLASSES DUE TO THE SUN REFLECTION WHEN I WAS SKIING. I JUST NEEDED THE REASURANCE THAT THE GLASSES WOULD FIT IN MY SKI JACKET POCKET. THAT IS WHEN THE SALES WOMEN THOUGHT I HAD CRIMINAL INTENTIONS OF STEALING THE GLASSES.FORGETTING TO ASK THE SALES WOMEN IF I COULD TRY TO SEE IF THE GLASSES FIT IN MY POCKET I WENT AHEAD AND TRIED. I TRIED TO EXPLAIN THAT TO THE SALES WOMEN AND SHE HAD HER MIND SET ALREADY. I TRIED TO PAY FOR THEM AND SHE SAID THE POLICE ARE ALREADY ON THE WAY.WITH NO TIME TO THINK I PLED GUILTY SO THAT I COULD GO HOME THAT EVENING SINCE I WAS TWO AND A HALF HOURS FROM HOME.
