[Customer's] complaint is further based on concerns related to liquidity of the BLC fixed annuity. The complaint requests cancellation of the policy and return of principal without fees or surrender charges Damage Amount Requested: $14,163.49 Broker Comment: Bankers Life and Casualty Company determined that the fixed annuity purchase was suitable based on the financial status, goals, and objectives of the customer, principally the stated interest of the client to protect a portion of the principal of her retirement assets. The customer was given 30-day free look period to evaluate the benefits and terms of the policy, during which time the customer did not exercise her right to cancel the policy
