Date: October 25, 2013 Category: Employment Separation After Allegations Firm Name: JPMorgan Chase Bank, NA Termination Type: Voluntary Resignation Allegations: Non-securities related allegations raised by affiliate bank regarding registered representative, in his capacity as an affiliate bank employee, for assisting affiliate bank customers with the purchase, in cash, of multiple cashier's checks in suspicious amounts. Broker Comment: It is unclear why Chase has claimed these allegations 4 years after I voluntarily left the company in October 2013. The transaction in question was processed by a teller with review and approval given by the branch manager. My capacity as a private banker primarily focused on deepening client relationships. I had no transaction approval authority and was merely a messenger for transactions to promote client convenience. As I write this in September 2017, I have never had a client complaint nor been disciplined around sales/ethics or compliance violations in my 10+ years in financial services. I plan to exonerate myself through proper due process.
