I HAD PICKED THAT PARTICULAR LOCATION BECAUSE IT WAS NOT ON A PUBLIC STREET, AND I FELT IT WAS A SAFER PLACE TO PRACTICE. WE (I HAD A LICENSED PERSON IN THE CAR WITH ME) WERE PULLED OVER AND THE OFFICER ASKED IF I HAD MY LICENSE. BECAUSE I WAS SCARED, AND DID NOT WANT TO GET INTO TROUBLE, I, WITHOUT THINKING, LIED AND SAID THAT I DID. HOWEVER, I IMMEDIATELY REALIZED THAT LYING WAS NOT GOING TO HELP THE SITUATION AND I TOLD THE OFFICER THAT I REALLY DID NOT HAVE A LICENSE. AT NO TIME DID I GIVE HIM ANY FALSE IDENTIFICATION, AND WITHIN SECONDS OF TELLING HIM THAT I HAD A LICENSE, CORRECTED MY STATEMENT AND TOLD HIM I DID NOT. HE WAS ANGRY BECAUSE I LIED TO HIM, SO HE ISSUED A TICKET FOR GIVING "FALSE INFORMATION" TO AN OFFICER, WROTE IT UP AS A MISDEMEANOR, AND I WENT TO COURT. I WAS NEVER ARRESTED NOR INCARCERATED. I RECEIVED A FINE, WHICH WAS PAID IN FULL.
