THE CUSTOMER ALLEGED DAMAGES OF $915.28. ALTHOUGH THERE WAS NO BASIS FOR [CUSTOMER'S] ALLEGATIONS, LAIDLAW SETTLED WITH [CUSTOMER] FOR $457.64. [CUSTOMER] THEN COMPLAINED TO THE N.F.A. AGAINST ME FOR $457.64. THE N.F.A. ORDERED ME TO PAY [CUSTOMER] $457.64, WHICH I PAID. THE TAPE RECORDER RECORDING THE TRADE WASINOPERABLE THAT DAY. LAIDLAW DECIDED IT WOULD BE CHEAPER TOSETTLE WITH [CUSTOMER] THAN TO CONTEST HIS ALLEGATIONS FOR$915.28. I PAID THE $457.64 AS ORDERED.
